Читати на FacebookThe Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 (URC 2026) in Gdańsk once again demonstrated that international support for Ukraine is moving beyond political commitments toward practical implementation. The conference highlighted that the country's successful recovery depends on strong cooperation between governments, the private sector, financial institutions, and international partners.
The Dictio team actively participated in the conference. Olena Shtohryn, Managing Partner of Dictio and representative of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine, was a speaker at the roundtable discussion "The Role of Business Organizations in Building a New Ukraine." During the discussion, she emphasized that international cooperation and business associations play a vital role in building strategic partnerships and consortia capable of delivering large-scale recovery projects and effectively utilizing international financial instruments.

One of the conference's key side events was a high-level dialogue between representatives of the Ukrainian and Polish banking sectors. The Ukrainian delegation was led by Serhii Mamedov, Chairman of the Management Board of Globus Bank and Vice President of the Association of Ukrainian Banks, while the Polish delegation was represented by Dr. Tadeusz Białek, President of the Polish Bank Association (Związek Banków Polskich).
Olena Shtohryn participated in the meeting as a facilitator of the dialogue, supporting discussions on strengthening Ukrainian-Polish banking cooperation and developing financial mechanisms to facilitate Ukraine's reconstruction.

An important foundation for this cooperation is that both the Association of Ukrainian Banks and the Polish Bank Association are members of the European Banking Federation, creating additional opportunities for deeper collaboration and the further integration of Ukraine's financial sector into the European financial ecosystem.

URC 2026 also delivered significant practical outcomes, including the announcement of the first €3.2 billion disbursement under the European Union's new financial instrument for Ukraine, US$3.4 billion in financing through the World Bank, the launch of the European Flagship Fund for the Reconstruction of Ukraine and the **Ukraine Transport Support Fund, €140 million for housing programmes, and new partnerships in infrastructure, energy, and defence.

At Dictio, we believe that Ukraine's recovery requires more than financial resources. It depends on a robust legal framework, well-structured investment projects, international partnerships, and effective dialogue among all stakeholders. By combining legal expertise with international cooperation, we are committed to supporting sustainable investment and the successful reconstruction of Ukraine.
